Experienced Legal Cashier / Accounts Clerk

Experienced Legal Cashier/Accounts Manager.

Our client is currently seeking a full time permanent Legal Cashier/Accounts Manager for their Liverpool based law firm.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules, good IT skills and previous legal cashier experience.

The role & responsibilities for the Legal Cashier will include: -

• Client and office payments & receipts
• Online payments
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Dealing with general queries and month end balancing.
• Providing budgets and monthly management accounts.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
• Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Account Rules and the firm's internal policies and procedures at all times

The ideal candidate will :

• Have excellent communication skills
• Experience of preparing client account reconciliations that conform to the requirements of the SAR (essential)
• Demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy to detail

Salary £32- £35k
