Locum Childcare Lawyer

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team based in Buckinghamshire . This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with previous experience specialising in Childcare, ideally from a Local Authority background although those possessing experience in Family Law gained in Private Practice will also be considered.

Duties may include:

• Attending Pre-Proceedings meetings and providing advice
• Drafting all necessary documents for the commencement of proceedings
• Interviewing and taking instructions from professional clients and advising their witnesses
• Drafting Pleadings and Statements

This position is offered on a full-time basis at an hourly rate of up to £32 per hour (umbrella/limited) dependent on experience.
