Legal Counsel

A major listed plc with a diverse and interesting portfolio of businesses and a significant turnover, is looking to add a junior level Legal Counsel to their in-house legal department. This full-time, permanent role will be based in Leeds and pay up to £50,000 per year.

Responsibilities of your new role

Joining a fast-paced business that has grown rapidly in recent years, your core duties as Legal Counsel will include:

• Working across a broad array of commercial and corporate legal matters
• A variety of complex and interesting commercial contracts work
• Support on intellectual property, corporate matters and data protection issues

Candidate requirements

The business seeks an In-House Counsel who demonstrates:

• 1-3 years of PQE
• Experience in a business law environment such as corporate, commercial, projects, property, litigation or regulatory
• Excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and adaptability
• A genuine team player
• Comfortable in a fast moving and dynamic business
• Experience in a recognised commercial law firm or in-house legal department
