Business Development Manager
West Yorkshire
Salary up to £60k
Our client, a market leading Personal Injury firm based in Yorkshire are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and help drive and recruit new business links across each office.
The successful Business Development Manager will have previous experience in Selling Legal Services and have already developed good business links/connections.
You will need to be able to effectively negotiate and influence key decision makers within client organisations. The basic salary, OTE, and package are extremely competitive.
Your main responsibilities are:
To ensure we effectively target new work and acquire new clients of the right quality for the whole firm;
To work with the Partners to seek out, develop and win new business from both new and existing clients.
To oversee key relationships that are vital to the customer experience.
Duties will include:
Develop comprehensive sales target plans in line with the firm's business objectives and budgets;
Work with the Partners to research and generate business development opportunities, cultivate target relationships and develop action oriented targeting plans/sales funnels;
Develop the firm's capabilities in tendering & pitching for work;
Ability to think outside the box and have a pro-active approach to self-generate new business through referrals and attending and organising business development networking events;
Keep accurate records and contacts on the firm's data base;
Skills & attitude:

Have experience in a business development role within the RTA claims industry;
A self-motivated and results driven legal sales negotiator with an ability to work on their own initiative and as a team player;
Excellent communication skills with clients, visitors and colleagues in writing, face to face and by telephone;
A strong passion for success;
First line management experience;
A drive to achieve targets and help grow the business;
Be reputable wihin the motor insurance/claims industry;
Ability to think creatively, develop sales target plans and implement these effectively and profitably.
