Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor required to join this top ranked practice based in the City of London.

The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious) with at least 5 years PQE.

The specialist Construction team provides a comprehensive range of construction law solutions across the wide spectrum of projects undertaken in the construction industry. Clients include private and public institutions, property owners, developers, funders, contractors, specialist sub-contractors, suppliers and construction/design consultants.

You will work as part of a highly ranked department; you will deal with a wide range of work, making for a more interesting role. The work will vary from project-specific EPC and EPCM contracts to multi-party and collaborative working arrangements and encompass NEC and traditional JCT contracts.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of experience).
  • The caseload will include but not be limited to; procurement and contracting strategies, funding and financing agreements, contract tendering, frameworks and security documentation including advance payment bonds.
  • It is important to highlight that the firm may look at someone looking to build on their real estate experience or transfer from contentious construction.
  • An excellent eye for detail is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Salary is above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
