Technology/Procurement Counsel, Manchester, 5+

Our client, a global wealth manager and financial services provider, is looking for a commercial, procurement  and technology lawyer to join their Technology and Intellectual Property Group Legal Team in Manchester. This role would join one of their largest EMEA offices which is rapidly expanding.

In this role you will be responsible for negotiating technology agreements, including software development, licensing and maintenance agreements, application hosting agreements, outsourcing agreements and hardware leasing and purchase agreements. You would also advise on intellectual property and regulatory issues affecting the group. You will join a challenging, fun and supportive environment and advise key internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience and feel confident working at a high technical level with a great deal of autonomy.  Experience of working within a leading financial services company or in house institution would be advantageous but not essential .
