A fast growing US Law Firm based in the heart of the city, is looking to hire a new Marketing & Business Development Manager to collaborate with the Director of International Marketing & BD Manager to create and implement a strategic Business Development and Marketing plan that will drive the growth of the London and European presence.  Responsibilities will include leading and consulting with the Partners, key committees, and practice leaders on the development and execution of meaningful strategic business development and marketing initiatives, coaching Lawyers on relationship and brand building, including personal business development plans and content marketing strategies, proactively provide tracking and analysis on business development efforts – both for individuals and on a regional level, set standards, supervise and actively participate in development of customized responses to pitches and RFPs/RFIs and other marketing collateral for new business opportunities and client meetings; work with the Pricing and Project Management team in developing alternative fee arrangement proposals and other value adds, ensuring that practice group and industry experience descriptions, web content, transaction lists, case studies and other marketing content is compelling and up-to-date, working with the European Events Manager to research on-point visibility opportunities, such as industry seminars and speaking opportunities, sponsorships and targeted events, to increase an individual or group’s profile.  Drive lawyers to consider how to maximize event involvement by identifying opportunities for client and target touch points, collaborating with the library and market/competitive intelligence team to provide market and client intelligence to the partnership in order to identify viable new business from current clients, as well as identifying additional market share opportunities with prospect clients, leading on the development and execution of marketing and thought leadership campaigns.  Review campaign data for business development opportunities, contributing to the successful integration of new lateral Partners and Attorneys.  Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years BD/Marketing Management experience within a Law Firm, specifically with experience within Corporate/Private Equity in addition to being degree educated and having excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
