Adult Social Care Lawyer

My client, a local authority based in East London is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer for a period of three months initially.

The successful candidate will be required to show a detailed knowledge of adult social care legal work and experience of dealing with children’s social care judicial review.

You will be required to provide advice on the client departments obligations under the Care Act 2014, advising on the councils responsibilities to persons with no recourse to public funds, matters arising under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 including deprivation of liberty safeguards and conduct of Court of Protection cases. The role will also offer the opportunity to undertake advocacy at the Court of Protection and County Court.

This role offers flexible working and the opportunity to work with an award winning Social Care Team.
