Your new role
This is an exciting time to join a committed in-house legal team, which is delivering an efficient and high quality legal service to enable the council to deliver its Borough Plan priorities. We are looking for confident, motivated people with strong communication and influencing skills to be part of our excellent and friendly legal team.
This role is vital for the Council's safeguarding agenda and it supports internal clients by providing advice and assistance on all aspects of work relating to adult safeguarding, service provision disputes and judicial reviews.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 2 years strong experience of delivering advice in respect of Adult Services. You will demonstrate knowledge of the law and practice in relation to community care, mental health, mental capacity and adult safeguarding matters. You will have had experience of dealing with Judicial Review and Court of Protection litigation.
