Our client provides specialist investment, advisory and financial services in select markets around the world.
The Capital Funds Division acquires and manages infrastructure and other specialised assets on behalf of external investors through listed and wholesale investment vehicles.
Due to continuing growth in its European operation, led from London, it now requires an M & A lawyer to join the Funds division. The legal team is an integral part of the Funds business and the role will involve providing
• legal advice and support for the acquisition, restructuring and refinancing of investments by the funds established and managed by the client
• day-to-day advice on the ongoing management of the investment funds and their European assets.
The successful candidate will
• Have consistently assumed a leading role in European M&A transactions, either in private practice or in-house;
• Ideally also be familiar with one or more of private equity fund structures, acquisition finance, project finance and/or ECM;
• Enjoy assuming a high degree of responsibility, and managing people and processes;
• Thrive with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment; and
• Be confident and dynamic with a commercial, pro-active approach to their work.
