This growth position requires a specialist Pensions lawyer to support and develop the varied pensions work within the firm, joining a team of 3 lawyers.
The group provides a full range of pensions advice and deals with a broad variety of work, advising trustees, employers, members of schemes and pensions product providers.
To be successful you will have excellent technical expertise and communication skills, together with a good awareness of the issues which currently face the pensions industry.
A self-starter who can work independently as required, you will be able to participate in developing know-how in a fast changing field and be able to assist in developing the profile of the pensions group both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be able to draft simple deeds/documents and be ready to move on to complex drafting. Ideally you will also possess experience of advising both trustees and employers on current issues, providing support to the corporate group on smaller transactions and to the employment group on ad hoc queries. There is also an opportunity for the candidate to become involved in pensions litigation.
