Agricultural Lawyer, Top Cornwall, To £41K
Agricultural Lawyer, Top Cornwall, To £41K - Job Description
Want to join an L500 rated West country firm? Feel like your career has gone stale and needs to be revitalised?
This is a vibrant and upbeat full service firm with an outstanding work/life balance that ensures there is always a culture of support and team playing. The firm itself puts agricultural work at the very heart of its business services and you'll find it a refreshing change to be able to work at the coalface of this practice area.
An increasingly sought after and competitive area of work particularly in the Cornish and wider West Country market you'll thrive on working on interesting and varied land use, rural business and more specific agricultural issues. You'll enjoy the chance to do a mixture of both contentious and non contentious work. Some of the matters you'll be involved in will include leases, licences, farm and land sales and purchases, sporting and fishing rights, boundary disputes and access rights. You'll relish the opportunity to get involved in such a broad range of agricultural matters- this is a striking difference to many other firms in the area that are not able to offer you the chance to gain such a broad expertise. Please note, you are not expected to have gained exposure to all of these areas but a willingness to learn and proactive approach are required.
So what do you need to apply? Bags of enthusiasm and ideally some experience in agricultural work whether gained during your training contract or post qualification. The firm are open-minded and will consider you if you are looking to retrain and move into this practice area. You'll need to show commitment to the area and be enthusiastic and willing to get involved in client development and marketing.
It goes without saying that the area is a beautiful one in which to live and work but there's no harm in reminding you that you're a stone's throw from the sea, picture postcard landscapes and some of the most stunning coastline and countryside that you can envisage.
