ASSET/PROJECT FINANCE x2 - Top 10 City

Our client undertakes a broad range of asset and structured finance work involving ships, aircraft and rolling stock. They have a large number of asset finance and project finance lawyers spread across the London Banking department. The team that they are looking to recruit into has 4 partners and 10 associates. PQE requirements They are looking for 2 associates to join this team Ship Finance lawyer - 4-6 year PQE (must possess previous ship finance experience) Asset/Project Finance lawyer - 3-5 years PQE. The successful candidate will work on high quality project and asset finance work, primarily for financier clients such as RBS, HBOS and Lloyds. Experience should ideally cover infrastructure/PPP with exposure to asset and property finance transactions.

Recent highlights include advising the lenders on CAN$1bn of finance (using the first monoline-wrapped bank loan to a North American infrastructure project) to construct the Golden Ears Bridge in Canada, and acting for two Marubeni-led consortiums, on the US$1.2bn Saudi Arabian Rabigh power, water and steam project, and a large independent power project in Qatar. - Legal 500.
