The Assistant Tax Manager will be a member of the Partners’ Tax team, responsible for assisting the Partners’ Tax Manager with the tax compliance for the UK resident partners.

Key Role, Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Responsible for own portfolio of clients. Collation, preparation and submission of individual UK tax returns for UK resident partners (and a number of non-resident partner), together with all related compliance obligations, tax payments and internal accounting.
- Amendments to tax calculation for individual partners for previous years and submission to HMRC.
- Liaising with financial team in respect of quarterly distributions
- Dealing with pension payments for partners.
- Reviewing and reconciliation of individual partners’ tax reserve.
- Reviewing work of Junior Assistant.

- Flexibility – able to work outside normal office hours - this may include working weekends when required.
Education, Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Educated to degree level.
ATT/CTA
- Computer literate – Advanced level of Excel.
Desirable
- ACA/ACCA
- Previous personal tax experience preferably in a large accountancy firm.
- Working knowledge of Pertax.
