Associate: Banking and Finance (3-8 PQE)

This top tier UK international law firm has had a presence in Singapore and the Asian region for more than a decade offering a full range of expertise on corporate and finance transactions and disputes. It has established itself as one of the best banking and finance teams in the region.

You will have good academics from a leading tertiary institution (you must have a 2:1 degree or higher) and between 3 and 8 years experience in banking and finance work including acquisitions, project and/ or general finance within an established firm.

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of legal ability, sound technical skills and a proven track record. You will have the ability to take instructions and responsibility and use your inititative when required. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and be able to work closely with clients and colleagues, build and maintain professional relationships in the office, across the international network and with external parties. You will have good business development skills and commercial acumen. You will be able to speak and draft fluently in English. Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage, especially drafting skills.

In addition to the above, you must be comfortable with fast-paced and challenging complex cases and to be part of a team of diverse and enthusiastic indivduals. You will receive good quality instructions and be able to broaden your experience across multiple areas.
