Our client is a well-respected legal costs firm based in the North West. They are looking to recruit experienced cost draftspersons and negotiators to join their expanding team.
As a cost negotiator, you will;
· have either Claimant or Defendant experience and a minimum of 6 months costs experience
· be fully aware of the costs procedure
· be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of CPR, CPD and case law
· be an excellent cost negotiator, be accurate and have a careful eye for detail
As a draftsman, you will;
· ideally have experience of preparing Bills of Costs and preparing Points of Dispute/Replies
· preferably have issued Part 8 proceedings
· be confident, motivated, an excellent communicator
· be able to handle small and medium sized files of reasonable complexity
