AVIATION LAWYER (PRIVATE PRACTICE DUBLIN)

TITLE:AVIATON ASSET FINANCE LAWYER (DUBLIN)

THE ROLE
This highly rated Aviation Asset Finance Team of one of Ireland's leading corporate law firms is seeking an experienced Aviation Asset Finance Lawyer to join the department.

You will be responsible for the preparation of documents relating to the sale, purchase, finance and leasing of aircraft, spare engines, aircraft parts and other equipment, maintenance and support agreements, marketing, sales and ground handling agreements as well as other commercial documentation arising within the aviation industry.
Successful candidates will act as the main point of contact for the client and will adopt a proactive role in the delivery of high quality, practical and commercial legal advice to the clients. You will also actively participate in business development initiatives

THE PERSON
Ideally you will have between 2-5 years pqe in the following areas:

Excellent technical knowledge in relation to:

The drafting, negotiation and review of Aircraft Leases (operating, finance and wet leasing)
Aircraft and engine sales and purchasing
Tax structures for the ownership and leasing of aircraft
Corporate finance structuring
Aircraft and engine financing

Commercial agreements experience should cover the following:

Airline franchises
Operating agreements
Fuel and catering
Sales and agency
Ground Handling
Engine Leasing
Regulatory matters to include airline and route licensing as well as airworthiness

Comprehensive knowledge of EC Aviation Regulations and International Aviation Treaties is also required.
