About you:
We are looking for a solicitor with a background in banking and finance to join our leading Banking & Financial Services team.
You will have:
- excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice
- strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients
- team focus - to facilitate effective team-work by developing strong internal relationships
- enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - participating in industry related programs and developing strategic relationships and networks
- first rate experience of drafting documents (including deeds, agreements, opinions and advices).
About your team:
Our banking and finance lawyers assist clients on all banking and finance-related matters in Hong Kong and Asia including:
- syndicated lending transactions
- acquisition finance and leveraged buy-outs
- property finance
- telecommunications finance
- structured finance
- project finance
- financial regulation
- derivative products
- payment and settlement systems
- product regulation
- insolvency
- restructuring.
We act for major financial institutions and domestic and multi-national corporations who are regular borrowers by way of bank debt and debt capital markets. We also advise governmental institutions, rating agencies and market organisations.
In this role, you will work closely with Richard Mazzochi on Debt Capital Markets work.
