A prestigious US law firm dealing with all aspects of corporate law, is looking for a French or Spanish speaking legal secretary to join their busy City firm. It’s an amazing opportunity to become part of a progressive firm with long standing tradition.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to 3 Associates and 1 lawyer. This will include travel arrangements, diary management, copy typing, document processing, taking calls, correspondence, meeting bookings, appointments, arrange conference calls and photo copying among other things.
It is a very varied role in and you get to work in a professional and friendly environment. The firm is looking for someone who has previous secretarial experience in the legal sector and who can handle a heavy workload. My client wants to hear from people who has fast typing speed i.e. preferably 70wpm and above and it would be a definite benefit if you have shorthand although this is not essential.
As for personal qualities they are looking for someone who can handle stress well, is confident and can work effectively on their own initiative. My client is offering up to 34k plus great benefits on top. Your working hours will be 9.30-6 + occasional overtime (paid).
