About the role:
An excellent opportunity currently exists within the Sydney Marketing team for an experienced Business Development Consultant.
This role will be challenging but highly rewarding and will utilise the skills of someone who has had previous experience in a similar role. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be involved in driving the firm's Business Development strategy to execute against profitable growth opportunties across Australia, Asia and London.
You will support the Business Development team to apply market analysis and relationship building skills to win work through practice, client & industry growth.
You will be responsible for:
- providing marketing/business development-related support to Practice Team Leaders, partners and other lawyers
- writing and producing tenders and proposals
- assisting with research and implementation of new industry, focus group or client initiatives
- reconciling and maintaining client and practice team budgets
- undertaking client and market research including data analysis and preparing regular reports
- working alongside the Shared Services teams to ensure streamlined products are delivered to the legal teams.
About you:
You will possess:
- excellent attention to detail and communication skills to deliver quality work and service to the marketing team, the wider firm and clients
- tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or commerce (preferred), including post-qualification professional services marketing experience
- the ability to drive projects and initiatives from conception to completion
- excellent initiative, organisational and prioritising skills
- the ability to liaise with peers and clients at all levels.
