Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this is a great opportunity to work for a leading City law firm.
The role supports the Director of BD in increasing the level and quality of the firm's business development activity with specific responsibility for the employment, property and construction departments.
Key duties include:
• Creating a strategic and planned approach to the department’s marketing and business development activities
• Providing a coaching facility to partners to help develop their marketing and selling skills and develop/progress individual client/target action plans
• Helping identify key targets for new business, conducting research into targets and intermediaries
• Assisting partners in the preparation of credentials (including Legal 500 submissions) and tenders for new business, including research and rehearsals
• Identifying opportunities for marketing initiatives, including events and PR,
• Ensuring that new work opportunities or potential is explored with other partners/departments
The post holder will be operating extensively with partners and strong influencing skills and credibility are required in order to bring about change. In order to drive effectively new initiatives the post holder must also have excellent project management, team working and communication skills. The ability to be self motivated and highly organised is imperative, as is a hands-on approach to getting the job done.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, with a recognised marketing qualification and experience in the professional services and/or financial services sector.
