Business Development Manager - International - Job Description
This is a true international opportunity with a leading US law firm that is currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to focus on international BD. With the choice of being based in either London or Dubai, the role is strongly focused on development and implementation of a business development strategy across Asia, Russia and the Middle East as well as London. You will be working with the international Partners in Charge across six offices to develop your understanding of their BD needs, design tailored BD strategies for each office, and then be instrumental in the implementation of these. You will also work with groups and individual fee-earners to fine tune individual marketing / BD plans, and be the key contact for international lawyers regarding the planning & execution of both inhouse and external seminars, client events etc. Public relations will also form part of your remit, and you will further be responsible for marketing budgets, market research & analysis, pitch preparation, and assist with identifying and providing relevant training to fee-earners. This is a senior role and 5+ years of legal marketing / BD experience is essential to be considered, along with experience in budgeting, outstanding communication & negotiation skills, and be of graduate calibre.
