Capital Markets Lawyer

This highly regarded US Investment Bank is offering a great opportunity for a Lawyer with knowledge of capital markets, securities lending, financing and repo to take on a high level role in the UK Legal team.

As sole UK lawyer for this department you would deal with clients across the EMEA and APAC regions, offering business focussed support on new product development, regulatory advisory work and transactional work on some exciting new areas and products. You would also be responsible for keeping up with industry initiatives.

The role would suit an unconventional thinker with confidence and sound judgement due to the varied and fluid nature of the work involved. You will need to forge relationships with other lawyers and business managers and prove to be reputable and credible point of contact for issues they may come across.

The department provides agency securities lending services, to institutions including collateral management and cash collateral investment services, FX, transition management and depositary receipts liquidity services. It is an area of the bank that is growing rapidly and this position is an excellent career option with real opportunity for promotion in a short space of time.
