The Capital Markets Group currently consists of six partners and four associates. All lawyers of the Group are bilingual in English and French and have spent part of their professional life in the United Kingdom or the United States.

We handle and advise on all types of capital markets transactions including issues of debt and equity securities, warrants, investment funds securities, convertible bonds and other equity-related instruments, with particular emphasis on new products such as high yield bonds and capital instruments of regulated issuers.

As the leading full service firm in France we have significant experience in advising arrangers, issuers and investors, including some of the most prominent French, European and U.S. institutions, in connection with both domestic and international transactions. Members of the Capital Markets Group maintain close relationships with the French authorities in the relevant sectors (including the French Treasury, the Banque de France, the Commission des Opérations de Bourse and the French stock exchange authorities).

We are currently looking for capital markets lawyers with 1-4 years experience for our Paris office. The work will be varied, challenging and international in nature and there will be opportunities for secondments overseas. The package will be highly competitive internationally and will include a relocation allowance.

You will have a strong academic background, a good grounding in banking and be ready and prepared to try something different that will significantly enhance your career prospects. As an expanding law firm, partnership is a real possibility. You will have knowledge of the French language but you do not necessarily need to be fluent. An English partner, for example, joined with only ‘A' level French as background but with a strong commitment to learn and is now fluent and called to the Paris Bar.
