Growing property company has an opportunity for a property lawyer to join the business as first in-house counsel.

The successful individual will be responsible for all property matters in the business. The work will predominantly be residential development although there will be a small amount of general commercial property work. You will be responsible for both freehold and leasehold work (the purchase of freehold reversions of large apartment blocks). You will deal with lease extensions, deeds of variation, landlord and tenant matters and some disputes.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be confident in handling your own case load and dealing with sometimes complex property issues. You must be happy to work as the sole lawyer and take responsibility for managing the department. This is a great opportunity for a commercial property solicitor to join a growing property business.
