Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer - Job Description
A commercial contracts and procurement position has opened at a world famous brand Company. The purpose of this In house role is to provide legal support for the Global Procurement function, including supporting global contracts and other negotiations, managing disputes and provision of general legal advice. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing legal budget for Global Procurement support and mitigating contractual risks in the supply chain and potential liabilities arising from business/ promotional activities. The role also involves supporting and coaching regional lawyers in advising on procurement and outsourcing contracts. You will be primary counsel to the Global Head of Procurement and the line management of a trainee solicitor based in London.
The successful applicant will be highly experienced in this field and have experience of dealing with international and cross border issues and general commercial contract drafting, including marketing and sponsorship contract drafting and negotiation. A proven track record of implementing and managing complex global arrangements is a must along with dealing effectively with external legal services partners.
This is a 3 month contract initially, thereafter reviewable.
