Our client is one of the worlds leading mobile telecommunication organisations and they are currently seeking a Solicitor with ideally 4 years PQE for an initial 12 month contract to be based in Newbury, Berkshire. This role will be responsible for providing commercial law advice and expertise to the Supply Chain Function for Global Technology Operations.
On a daily basis you will provide accurate, effective and timely legal advice, taking into account the commercial environment. You will provide advice on how to structure commercial agreements for the supply and procurement of commercial services and products. You will draft and negotiate relevant agreements and work with tax and regulatory functions. You will have a central role in influencing discussions between clients and internal stakeholders to work towards to best legal solution to meet commercial objectives and to encourage best practice.
Suitable candidates for this role will ideally have 4 years PQE in a commercial legal role. Previous experience of providing commercial law support for commercial contract negotiations for the supply and procurement of IT services is preferable. You will need to have proven abilities in the drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts.
