The Commercial Dispute Resolution Team
The Team
Our lawyers are used to acting as commercial advisers to our clients.
Our reputation has been built on an eagerness to understand our clients’ businesses and our ability to adopt an innovative and flexible approach. The team provide specialist yet pragmatic advice on all aspects of commercial law.
The Commercial Dispute Resolution Team comprises of 2 Partners and 9 Assistants, Trainees and Paralegals spanning London and Bristol. The Team handles a broad mix of commercial disputes. In London the emphasis is on larger high value cases and brand protection.
The firm is committed to the development and growth of the Commercial Dispute Resolution Team by the appointment of a specialist commercial litigation solicitor.

The successful candidate will be working closely with colleagues in London and Bristol, within the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, as well as with other members of the firm who service commercial clients.

The Role:
Within the existing Commercial Dispute Resolution team to service the litigation requirements of the firm’s clients.
To contribute to the firm’s expertise in the field of commercial dispute resolution.
To contribute to the growth and reputation of the firm’s commercial dispute resolution practice.
Dealing with commercial disputes at all levels, including litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Developing a sound understanding of the principles and issues in commercial dispute resolution matters.
Handling a range of international brand protection issues.
Attending and instigating business development events.
Contributing to best practice and precedent development
Taking responsibility for all aspects of personal financial management

The Ideal Candidate:
A strong academic background.
Good commercial awareness.
A commitment to developing the Commercial Dispute Resolution team and the firm’s wider practice.
The candidate will have a litigation background with a reputable firm and will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of litigation principles together with a genuine interest in commercial dispute resolution.
