Commercial Health Solicitor

Our client is a market leader in providing legal health service, the firm is committed to providing top-level advice to its health sector clients and commercial advice to Strategic Health Authorities, special Health Authorities, NHS Trusts, Foundation Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and GP practices and private sector healthcare providers

The Health Group Division of this firm's Commercial Services Department is looking to recruit a Solicitor to join their leading practice in London. This role includes advising on the full range of commercial health sector matters including the procurement of goods and services (and the impact of EU regulations and guidance), commissioning contracts, joint ventures and corporate vehicles, mergers and acquisitions and the exploitation of intellectual property, the key aspect being involved in assisting with business development initiatives with the assistance of the firm's business development team.

The ideal candidate mat have approximately 3 years PQE or equivalent, with a genuine interest in the NHS and have experience of advising NHS clients proactively (in-house/ private practice), an ability to display a broad relevant commercial knowledge base (including drafting and negotiation) and combing high levels of technical skills with a need to provide pragmatic advice.
