COMMERCIAL LAWYER – PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR

The company’s growth is genuinely organic as the discovery of new products is a priority for them - it invests heavily back into its own R&D. The UK legal team is now looking for a lawyer to assist in servicing the commercial legal needs of the business. Reporting to the Director for Legal, you will be responsible for the management of legal risk in the company, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and advising the business on a range of industry-specific legal issues and regulations. You will work both with the team as well as having your own responsibilities. Your strong commercial contracts skills will be well-utilised in this role, as will your experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector. A strong team focus as well as the ability to work solely on transactions and projects is also required. Demonstrated ability to provide relevant commercial advice within the legal ambit is essential, as well as the ability to identify potential risk issues and manage these at a commercial level. Up-to-date knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and the initiative to keep up-to-date with these changes will also be highly regarded.
