Commercial Manager - Bedfordshire

Commercial Manager sought to join thriving company to handle contract and commercial business terms, negotiation and contractual support and advice.

You will work in the Commercial/Legal Department as one of a growing team of seven professionals. The broader parameters of the role include
•Participating in the commercial negotiations that support the success and growth of the Division by creatively balancing risk, reward and competitive edge
•negotiating both customer and supplier contracts/sub-contracts
•drafting bespoke and non-standard agreements, in particular variations, extensions and novations
•contributing to the preparation and delivery of major/complex bids
•Contributing to tenders and RFIs to ensure that the company's position to negotiate is preserved as appropriate
•contributing to the commercial aspects of preparation and delivery of major/complex bids

Of critical value is the ability and self-motivation to participate with the business, and to innovate commercial and contractual approaches, to close good business in collaboration with our sales teams.

The role will involve the provision of commercial and contractual advice across a range of topics including managed and hosted services based on the company's IP, Data Protection, TUPE/Employment issues, licensing, consultancy and general commercial matters
