Commercial - Salaried Partner - Solent

Work includes drafting and advising on terms and conditions, agency, distribution, franchising and goods/services supply contracts, leasing and concession arrangements, outsourcing projects, infrastructure projects, public private partnerships, advice on regulated contracts (eg in the financial services sector), commercial joint ventures, IT and technology contracts and licenses and eCommerce. Whilst the successful candidate is not expected to major in all these areas s/he should be able to supervise lawyers in all these areas. In addition the candidate should have: experience gained at a major National or London firm; significant experience of the full range of commercial contracts/projects and related contract law; direct experience of heavy weight contract negotiations with leading law firms; experience of assisting on corporate transactions (in relation to commercial elements); experience of leading and managing teams on exercises ranging from major projects to large scale commercial due diligence. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce to the firm a range of new commercial contacts and given the seniority of the role a following is likely.
