The successful candidate will have at least two years experience dealing with defendant or claimant EL/PL and product liability work, both fast and multitrack cases. Experience of Commercial insurance coverage issues and subrogated recoveries would be an advantage. You will assist a senior Associate with more complex cases in addition to running your own case load. You should be enthusiastic, ambitious, demonstrate a high calibre of analytical skills and have a genuine interest in insurance law. We are a fast expanding law firm looking for dynamic people to contribute to the growth of the team. The ability to work unsupervised and a proven track record of running a demanding case load is key to this role as is taking initiative. Good oral and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to build good relationships with clients. Some business development and marketing skills would also be an advantage. Management of more junior fee earners will be required and it is essential that you are used to working in a team environment. You will sit as part of our Commercial Group in Thames Valley providing support to the rest of the team in this key area.
