Aibel is dedicated to oil and gas production facilities solutions. We engineer, build, maintain,
modify and operate production facilities, and offer a portfolio of advanced separation, gas
and drilling technology solutions; all to help customers achieve greater production.
The company now has a new exciting and strategic requirement for a Compliance Officer, located at our Offices in Perth, Australia. The role will report directly to the Aibel Group Ltd. Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in London, and will have primary responsibility within the region for ensuring compliance with Aibel’s Code of Conduct, monitoring its effective implementation, reviewing diligence conducted on third parties, assessing compliance risks, responding to and supporting compliance needs of line management, tailoring training programs to meet local needs, and helping to deliver and implement training programs for various constituencies.
You will have at least 5 years experience in an international compliance environment (number of years flexible for the right candidate), and substantial experience in risk assessment, and anti-corruption programs, with specific experience with the U.S. FCPA. Any prior prosecutorial and/or investigative experience will be an advantage.
Candidates must be able to advise, counsel and interact effectively with the operational management team and Compliance Department, as well as coordinate effectively with the Legal Department in accordance with the roles and responsibilities for the respective departments as set out in the Code of Conduct. Candidates must also be able to operate effectively over a wide geographic region in Australia, and have the strength and business understanding to make judgment calls in a dynamic environment.
