Experienced construction lawyer required by Nottingham firm to join its busy and expanding Construction team.

The team focuses on a wide range of non-contentious matters including construction and engineering contracts, professional contracts, procurement contracts, collateral warranties, planning applications, environmental issues, sales and purchases of development land, options and conditional contracts, joint ventures and consortium arrangements, infrastructure agreements, representations to planning authorities in connection with local plans, PFI projects, and health and safety issues.
The role will involve drafting, negotiating and advising on high value contracts across a range of construction matters. You will have experience of drafting, negotiating and advising on construction and engineering contracts, including JCT contracts, professional appointments and warranties, procurement issues, health and safety issues and PFI projects. Your experience means that you are a confident self starter able to handle such matters with minimal supervision. You are likely to have at least 4 years’ PQE.
Although this is a non-contentious role, knowledge of or experience of dealing with construction disputes will be an advantage.
