Construction Lawyer 2+ years PQE - Job Description
Having recently made a key senior construction hire, we now have a vacancy in our Abu Dhabi office for a junior construction lawyer to assist with the development of our Middle East based construction practice. Working closely with the international energy and infrastructure practice in particular, the team is currently involved in a predominantly non-contentious work load, although as the practice develops a greater mix of contentious and non-contentious work will be on offer. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years' construction experience, with an emphasis on non-contentious work. Exposure to projects, commercial or real estate transactions would also be of interest. We are not interested in candidates with a purely contentious background however.
Applicants should be able to work independently and in a team in a flexible and adaptable manner, and should be able to demonstrate the genuine enthusiasm to play a key part in developing our Middle East practice. This is an genuine and exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a mark in our rapidly expanding Abu Dhabi office. Arabic language skills would be a bonus, but are not essential. An excellent academic background is a pre-requisite.
