Our client is the developer of the leading open OS for mobile handsets, with sites in UK, USA, Japan, India and China. The company concentrates its engineering work in producing an operating system for the leading handset manufacturers and its licensee base today generates more than 70% of smartphone handset sales. With a complex global ecosystem of partners and customers developing devices and software under detailed licensing arrangements, the successful candidate will support all aspects of the business and be involved in global licensing and supply arrangements for the company's products and you may from time to time need to travel to other company sites or to meet partners.
To succeed in this role you will be highly proficient in contract management with attention to detail coupled with knowledge of protection of intellectual property rights in the software industry. You will be a good time manager in possession of good organisational skills, of yourself and others. You will have experience of contract management, either inbound or outbound, preferably gained in the software industry. Analytical skills with the ability to solve problems, including a proactive but structured approach taking in to account the business needs of the company is requisite. A self starter with the skills to influence and communicate with key business stakeholders, including developers, sales and marketing teams and senior management is crucial as is your professionalism and ability to adapt to suit the changing needs of the business.
