Contracts Locum

A local authority in the Midlands is urgently recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Locum for a minimum 6 month period.

Ideally, candidates will have experience within a local authority, although this is not essential.

Candidates will be expected to deal with a wide range of contracts including, construction contracts, contracts for services, public private partnerships, IT contracts and funding agreements. In addition to this, candidates should in particular have a knowledge of drafting, negotiating and advising on procurement related issues..

Candidates will also be expected to advise on contract disputes and may represent the local authority at arbitration, adjudication/ADR hearings.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly commercial team and have the opportunity to be part of an exciting project with a varied workload.
