A local authority in the Midlands is urgently recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Locum for a minimum 9 month period.
Ideally, candidates will have experience within a local authority, although this is not essential.
Candidates will be expected to deal with a wide range of contracts including, construction contracts, contracts for services, public private partnerships, IT contracts and funding agreements. In addition to this, candidates should in particular have a knowledge of drafting, negotiating and advising on procurement related issues.
Candidates will be dealing with an exciting range of projects.
Candidates will also be expected to advise on contract disputes and may represent the local authority at arbitration, adjudication/ADR hearings.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly commercial team and have the opportunity to be part of an exciting project with a varied workload.
