M&A Corporate Counsel - FTSE 100 FMCG - City - Job Description
Superb opportunity to join a global household name FMCG Company. Our client is a FTSE 100 with a turnover of over £25 billion, over 55,000 employees and operates in over 180 markets. The company has a legal team of over fifty lawyers based at its offices in central London.
As a result of the company's continued growth, the M&A team are seeking to recruit another lawyer. The team is the Group's 'centre of excellence' and has handled a number of billion Euro acquisitions in the last 12 months. As one of the key individuals in the multi-disciplinary team, you'll identify major legal issues, draft documentation, participate in negotiations and manage external legal advisors. This role will involve international travel.

You're likely to have a minimum of three years' solid corporate experience from a leading City or international practice. You'll also be a self-starter capable of working without supervision, a good team worker and have strong communication skills.
