Corporate Float PA - ONE WEEK ON/ONE WEEK OFF - 6 MNTH FTC - Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within one of the most prestigious UK law firms, based in the city, within their Corporate department. They are searching for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Float team on a 6 month fixed term contract on a one week on/one week off basis.
The role will be providing a high level of secretarial and administration support to a number of nominated fee-earners within their Corporate department.
Responsibilities and duties will include:-
• Client Engagement – Responding to and prioritising clients’ requests, maintaining a good knowledge of current clients and client liaison
• Knowledge & Business Development Activities – Proactively supporting fee earner’s KPD responsibilities, carrying out basic business development duties, and assisting with administrative support for business development and client events
• General Administrative Support – Managing incoming communication, diary management, meeting/travel arrangements, proofreading, billing etc
• Team Support – Supporting other PAs in the team to ensure that peaks and troughs of demand are managed, ensuring phones are covered at all times and contributing to departmental support projects on an ad hoc basis
The successful candidate MUST have previous Corporate experience within a Law Firm, have a fast and accurate typing speed of at least 70WPM and have excellent knowledge of MS packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
