Our client is a top US firm, with a dedicated and well established London office. They specialise in commercial and financial transactions (with a particular focus on energy, project finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity) and a range of other practice areas, including international trade, litigation and arbitration.
They can genuinely boast deep and very longstanding client relationships with household name clients in FMCG, IT, Energy and Finance sectors, providing good deal flow from both their own efforts and from referrals from their US offices.
Their London office is populated with both English and US lawyers from top 10 firms and the calibre of transactions is extremely high. The Hiring Partner at the firm once told me that ‘ …a magic circle lawyer could expect to put in the same hours here as they do at their current firm, but to enjoy it a lot more, with time for personal and professional development seen as very important.’
There is a wealth of experience and an open door policy in their London office, based in the City, with an opportunity to have excellent levels of client contact and to take real responsibility.
They currently have 2 opportunities, one for a 4-5 year qualified corporate UK qualified lawyer with MA&/private equity experience and one for a 5 year plus qualified corporate UK qualified lawyer with experience of funds/fund formation, to work on global funds.
Experience from a magic or silver circle firms is highly desirable.
