The Company Commercial department consists of corporate; PFI/public sector; banking and insolvency; tax; IP and commercial. In pure corporate there are currently 6 partners and 9 assistant solicitors.
We are looking for corporate lawyers to carry out the following types of work:
• Mergers and acquisitions, both public and private
• Flotations and other equity fundraisings, both on the full list and on AIM
• Private equity transactions
• Joint ventures
• Capital reconstructions and reorganisations
The quality of clients and work is excellent (eg acting recently on behalf of Caterpillar Logistics in a deal to buy MG Rover’s parts business for £100 million); and candidates will have early responsibility for their own clients, deals and marketing. Full support and an excellent training programmes which consist of weekly in-house training sessions plus structured training programmes with external providers.
We will consider NQ's who have undertajen quality corporate work during their training contract.
