The role
You will be part of the PLC Corporate team which creates and maintains a wide range of online resources covering various corporate and commercial topics used by busy lawyers and other professionals. These resources include analysis of the latest legal and policy developments (e-mail updates), guides to particular corporate/commercial topics (practice notes) and precedents (standard documents and drafting notes).
You will be primarily responsible for analysing developments in case law that may affect corporate/commercial lawyers, recommending which developments should be reported on by PLC Corporate and drafting appropriate reports. There will also be opportunities to work on other resources within the PLC Corporate service.
Qualities and qualifications
You must have a keen interest corporate and commercial law. You should enjoy legal research and writing and be able to communicate complex points of law and ideas simply (but accurately) and effectively. You will have a good academic record and ideally will have worked for a reasonable time in the corporate/commercial area, whether in a law firm, in-house or at the bar.
