Corporate Lawyer 5+ years PQE - Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious corporate lawyer to join our London office to assist with corporate transactions arising from our recently opened office in Moscow.
Simmons & Simmons opened its Moscow office in 2007, to take advantage of the growing demand for legal services in Russia and to assist the growth of its emerging markets work. The decision reflects the firm's increasing focus on complex and innovative work for major clients in the firm's key strategic sectors.
The successful candidate will be working closely with both partners and associates in both London and Moscow. The position is based in London but it is envisaged that there will be extensive opportunities to travel to Moscow.
Applicants should have a leading corporate practice background and excellent academics are essential. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are pre-requisites, as is a willingness to provide a real contribution to the on-going success of this growing international corporate practice.
Russian language skills although helpful are not a pre-requisite.
