Group/Team Structure:
The role will form part of TLT's Commercial Services Group. The group has over 50 lawyers across our offices in Bristol and London advising a variety of corporations across the firm's 5 industry sectors.

The Role:
- A corporate solicitor to work in our London office to assist with the continued development of our corporate and commercial practices.
- This is a client facing role with an opportunity to develop individual specialisms over time.
- Advising on a variety of transaction matters including merger and acquisition, company reorganisation/joint ventures/venture capital and some capital markets experience.
- You will be responsible for your own matters as well as working as part of a project team on larger transactions.
- You will have a high level of client contact and will have the opportunity to get involved in business development activities.
- A working knowledge of UK and EU competition regimes covering behavioural activities and merger regulation is desirable.
- The work will be complex and varied.

The ideal candidate:
- You will be a solicitor with 2-3 years experience, within a commercial background and be interested in developing in the corporate field, supporting the Partners in London in mergers and acquisition and joint venture work.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills are essential.
- You will have worked in a corporate team in a City firm or a large regional practice.
