Through our network of offices across Europe, Asia and the US, we advise clients on cross border transactions and help manage the complexities associated with multi-jurisdictional corporate activity. The Corporate Group as a whole comprises over 200 lawyers in Europe alone, specialising in acquisitions, disposals, mergers, flotations, takeovers, security issues, fundraising and private equity financings and buy-outs as well as helping corporates to deal with the Regulation risks they now face.
We are interested in recruiting additional Assistants and Associates lawyers to augment the hires we have made to the London team earlier this year. The quality and quantity of work being generated by the team has been improving rapidly and our need to recruit talented lawyers to accommodate such growth is a top firm priority. Successful candidates will be encouraged to undertake a broad range of work covering private equity, corporate finance and M&A. We seek individuals with strong academics from recognised practices who have top quality corporate finance/public and private M&A/private equity experience. A keenness to be involved on business development initiatives on behalf of the group is also required as all team members are encouraged to be involved in marketing from an early stage in their careers. Good communication skills are essential as all fee earners will be expected to help manage relationships with existing and prospective clients alike. We are specifically interested in corporate solicitors (ideally UK qualified/experience) with around 3 or more years relevant experience in the following:
* solicitors with experience of in any of our core corporate areas;
* solicitors with a mix of the above expertise, however we are very open to considering and accommodating candidates who have specialised more in one particular area;
* solicitors or associates in all areas of corporate expertise, whether specialised or not. We should stress that we are happy to consider top quality candidates who may have narrowly missed partnership and therefore made the decision to make a move to a firm where they can enjoy better career prospects.
