Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer, Cardiff – Great career opportunity

A specialist litigation and commercial law practice with offices based in Cardiff and the South West of England. My client defends claims for the Insurance industry on behalf of the insurer, insured and self-insured alike. Their clients include some of the largest business in the insurance industry as well as national mortgage providers.\r\n\r\nDue to exciting growth within the firm, a fantastic opportunity is available for a fee earner with a strong background of at least 2 years as a defendant in Personal injury.\r\n\r\nIn addition to running your own caseload you will be responsible for the daily supervision of your own fast track team. The team will consist of Paralegals and Trainee Solicitors with a caseload of litigated RTA and EL/PL with a value up to £30,000. \r\n\r\nYou will carry out regular file reviews to ensure both procedural and quality compliance has been adhered to. All strategies completed by the team must be signed off by the Supervisor. \r\n\r\nYou will also be responsible for ensuring the team meet both their financial and settlement targets and will report to the Fast Track Teams Manager in this respect. \r\n\r\nThis is a great chance to get noticed and really progress your career. You will be required to assist with the training and development of your team and to ensure full compliance with the clients Service Level Agreements. \r\n\r\nExperience as a manager or a supervisor is desirable but consideration will be given to those with the right qualities for a supervisory role and full training will be provided in this instance.\r\n\r\nThis is a demanding role and ideally suited to someone who is ambitious, enjoys taking responsibility and can act as a positive mentor to your team.\r\nYou must be confident, approachable, a strong team player, trustworthy and have the ability to multi task. \r\n
