Derivatives Lawyer 4+ years PQE - Job Description
We have a vacancy for a derivatives lawyer to join our market leading financial services team as an associate, advising some of the most sophisticated users of derivatives in the market.
We are looking for a senior lawyer to work on either a part-time or full-time basis to assist in this increasingly busy area of our financial services team. This role is to advise in particular on a broad range of OTC derivatives agreements on a variety of asset classes, acting predominantly for some of the largest hedge funds in the market. It will also include an element of managing precedent documentation for the derivatives team. Applicants should have solid experience of advising on OTC derivatives, including equity derivatives and other bespoke OTC transactions.
The ideal candidate is likely to have at least 4 years' experience of this type of work. A leading City firm background is preferred, but candidates with in-house experience will also be considered.
This presents an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for certainty of working hours, but who also wants to work in a dynamic, successful and growing practice. The role could also be structured to accommodate flexible working hours.
