eBUSINESS COMMERCIAL MANAGER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - Job Description
The role of the Commercial Manager is to ensure that this international law firm derives maximum value from its investment in its eBusiness products and services. This is both a client-facing (internal and external) and revenue generating role. It requires a significant investment in developing and nurturing relationships on a global basis, with clients, practice areas and business services functions within the firm (all levels) and third party partners and suppliers. This role would typically have direct relationships with 20-30 of the firm’s most important clients and has two direct reports.
Suitable candidates would have as many of the following characteristics as possible:
• Professional services experience (and ideally law firm)
• Need to be confident, team-player, self-starter, have initiative
• Happy to work fairly autonomously
• Will have internal and external client contact so needs to be quite assertive with a professional manner
• Needs to be comfortable with all common technologies
• Database experience
• Competent with all MS applications
• Good attention to detail
• Good communications skills - oral and written
This role offers exposure to leading online offerings, true coal-face interactions with clients and key internal people and the opportunity to take ownership for projects. It is also a truly global role.
